The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Wind Advisory for the District of Columbia, which will be in effect from 8AM until 12AM midnight.
WHAT: Northwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 55 mph expected.
WHERE: Portions of DC, central, north central, northeast, northern, and southern Maryland, and northern Virginia.
IMPACTS: Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
