The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Wind Advisory for the District of Columbia which will be in effect until 6 PM EDT Saturday April 13, 2024.
WHAT: West winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts around 45 mph overnight, increasing to 20 to 30 mph with gusts around 50 mph Saturday.
WHERE: Portions of central, north central, and northern Maryland, The District of Columbia, and northern Virginia.
WHEN: Until 6 PM EDT Saturday April 13, 2024.
IMPACTS: Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
