On Sunday, June 4, 2023, the DC Department of Transportation’s Open Streets event will take place in the District of Columbia. In conjunction with this event, there will be parking
restrictions and street closures that motorists should take into consideration:
The following street will be posted as Emergency No Parking on Sunday, June 4, 2023 from 3:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.:
• 12th Street from Franklin Street to Michigan Avenue, NE
The following street will be closed to vehicle traffic on Sunday, June 4, 2023 from approximately 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.:
• 12th Street from Franklin Street to Michigan Avenue, NE
Please note, vehicle traffic will not be able to cross 12th Street from Franklin Street to Michigan Avenue, NE from approximately 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Residents or visitors to the streets east or west of the event area will need to plan their routes to access their destination without crossing 12th Street.
