Subject: DDOT Transit Advisory: DDOT to Suspend Late Night Weekend Service

Details: The District of Columbia Government has modified its operations in order to mitigate the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19). The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) has temporarily suspended late night service on the DC Circulator through the end of Mayor Bowser’s declared public health emergency. Effective Friday, March 27, 2020, the DC Circulator will suspend late night weekend service on the Georgetown-Union Station, Rosslyn-Dupont Circle and Woodley Park-McPherson Square routes. The modified schedule for these routes is as follows: Monday through Friday 6:00 a.m. – 12:00 a.m. (midnight) and Saturday and Sunday 7:00 a.m. – 12:00 a.m. (midnight). DC Circulator passengers are asked to enter and exit the bus using the rear door at all times. The only exceptions are for passengers who need to use the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) boarding ramp or require the bus to “kneel” to facilitate their boarding. DC Circulator has suspended fares on all routes. Service has been suspended on the National Mall routes.
